Wow, what a tiring few days. lol =] Class is taking it out of me. But this semester is definitely going to be all about glorifying God through academics (not grades, but effort & work ethic), discovering how to honor my parents and obey God, and seeing how God wants me to serve. Okay, so maybe those are goals central to life. hehe.
God's really blessed me with great professors and great opportunities. He's gotten me through my 10am - 4pm day with no breaks. He's even brought my dorm floor closer together! =D We've eaten dinner together a lot. And I've been trying to work =] He works wonders.
"If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will you Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask?" Matthew 7:11
I like how this verse points out that God is the ULTIMATE giver. Like, you want him to be your secret santa lol. He knows exactly what we need and intimately what we desire. The other thing is it says "to those who ask.." We must make our request known to Him. When you think about it, God wants us to talk to Him about what we want so that when He gives it to us we'll actually make the connection that He gave it to us. It's pretty cool. He's urging us forward and encouraging us by demonstrating his faithfulness and promise. <3

Praise report:
I was worrying over the possibility of having to pay $573 for school health insurance i didn't need because i was having problems waiving it. But it turns out i didn't have to worry because the waiver I turned in over the summer covers fall & spring semester!!! Praise God!
I thoughtI wasgoing to have registration block because I didn't pay $6 of my bill, but there was no problem!
I feel more excited about my major (Civil Engineering) after meeting with a professor and voicing my uncertainty about staying in CE. She talked to me about clubs and programs that incorporated environmental engineering with helping impoverished areas and working with people instead of buildings and bridges. I'm glad =D
