Being the thoughtful, amazingly on time, great gift giver that I am, I started to write people holiday cards...yesterday. They aren't even Christmas cards. They are more like thank you cards in red and green writing.
There were a few things that I wrote that I wanted to remember for myself:
"Don't ever lose heart. God has saved you. Past tense. SAVED. it is done. "[Christ] was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification. Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace, in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God." ROMANS 4:25-5:1-2
Though our faith remains faith today,
one sweet day, faith will be met face to face with what is;
On that day, faith & hope will cease.
Only love will remain.
[1 Corinthians 13:12-13]
WAIT ON THE LORD! WAIT FOR THAT SWEET DAY!

My prayer is not that you would have much or little, but that you would have God; that you would receive from God what you need. A man who has everythign he wants will soon forget the Lord. A man without, will curse the Lord in his depravity, but a man dependent on God is a man satisfied.
